TestimoniesWe are planning to have written and/or audio testimonies online in the near future. In the mean time please be encouraged to remain true to our God and to seek those things which are above. You can also learn from the example of holy men in the Scripture. Currently, we have some Character Studies on our Teachings page of men who were changed by the power of God and His Holy Spirit. The Scriptures tell us that he who continues to the end will be saved. Our prayer is that all who call upon the name of Christ would depart from all wickedness and that those who are considering Christ would truly count the cost. The price is great for your soul, would you give up eternity for a short season of sin in this life? The present offerings of pleasure and self-fulfillment in this world don't compare with the eternal riches that are available in Christ. It is not a wise exchange because our lives our like the flowers of the fields...just like the grass that withers in the heat and dies in a very short season, so our lives are short and will be quickly forgotten. It is appointed for man, once to die and after that to face the judgment. The wise in heart will accept commands--and of course God has given us true and just commands and does not want anyone to perish. Since he created us to worship Him, we cannot be considered "good" if we reject His command. To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. "They overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."--Rev 12:11 In Hebrews 11 it talks about the many people who inherited the promises of God by living their lives by a true and living faith which produces obedient service to God. "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."--Hebrews 11:6 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let
us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run
with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and
perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its
shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such
opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."--Hebrews
